• It is expected that all students must respect/ wish their teachers & elders.
• Speak only in English once they are in the school campus.
• Avoid vulgarity in talk & behaviour.
• Respect the school property.
• Wear their complete school uniform & Identity Card daily.
• Take care of their belongings.
• Properly behave while traveling in bus.
• Students driving on scooters/motorcycles are strictly prohibited into the school.
• Be in the school before 5 minutes of simulation of the school.
• Cheating, rude behaviour and insubordination as it could. lead to immediate suspension or expulsion from school.
• Indecent behaviour is strictly prohibited.
1. Conditions for expulsion:
(a) A student caught indulging in some highly undesirable activity will be expelled immediately from the school.
(b) Any student caught cheating or using unfair means during the examination/test may not only be given zero in the subject concerned, but an incident of this nature may lead to his/her expulsion from the school.
(c) In case a student stops attending school without any information to the school authorities, his/her name will be struck-off the rolls, 15 days after he/she stops attending the school.
2. Parent's Responsibility: Parents are required to cooperate with the School in developing their children into balanced, progressive, morally strong and disciplined youth, by helping their children to observe the general code of conduct in and outside the school. Misbehavior in the school is dealt by the Discipline Committee of the School. Recurrence of such acts may lead to expulsion of the defaulting student from the school. However, punishment is administered only with a view to correct the defiant behavior of the child. The Principal has the right to refuse continuation of studies to any pupil whose conduct is unsatisfactory.
(a) Girls' hair must be either cut short or plaited into 2 plaits neatly (Hairband are prohibited) .
(b) Students are not allowed to wear any ornaments to the school.
(c) Check your ward's Almanac daily. Do sign the remarks, if any and take necessary action.
(d) Ensure that your ward carries books according to the time table to avoid any extra load of books.
(e) Carrying excessive cash, cell phones or electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited. The school will not be responsible for goods, articles, money or books lost by children. Parents should not send expensive items with their children to school.
3. Students who habitually keep indulging in misbehavior despite repeated warnings and continuous efforts by school teacher to improve upon their behaviour will not be enrolled/admitted in the school during the following academic session. A warning in this regard will be given to parents well in advance to seek admission in some other school.
4. Strict action will be taken against student on the following grounds:
(a) Absence from Assembly (while present in the School).
(b) Absence from 'Class' and unexplained loitering.
(c) Scribbling graffiti.
(d) Unruly movement or making unwanted noise in the corridors or inside the building.
(e) Insubordination.
(f) Use of foul & filthy language.
(g) Vandalization of Notice Boards or any other form of vandalism.
(h) Wearing improper, incorrect or incomplete uniform.
(i) Creating undesirable chaos during dispersal after the Assembly.
(j) Staying on outside the Class room or building even after the break is over.
(k) Stealing.
(l) Bunking Classes/School.
(m) Possessing books which may be classified as obscene.
(n) Misconduct while traveling in the school bus.
(o) Misuse of internet in Computer Lab.
5. Prefects may check students any time during the day for improper uniform and may also confiscate items which they feel is not a part of the uniform.
6. Serious Offences
Cheating in examinations, stealing, physical violence, damaging school property and the like, would be dealt with, more severely. Such activities could mean immediate suspension/expulsion depending on the severity of the offence.
7. Striking-off the name from the rolls
The name of a student may be struck off the rolls on account of a continuous absence/ non-payment of fees and other dues for 20 days after the last day for payment.
8. School gate closes at 7:25 am (summer) and 8:25 am (winter) and late comers are not allowed to join the school on that day.
9. Student will be liable for punishment and award of Yellow Card.
10. Yellow cards will be issued at the first occasion of flouting discipline.
11. The following procedure will be followed for award of Yellow Card:
(a) The Yellow Card could be given confidentially, or awarded during assembly, in front of the entire school at the Principal's discretion.
(b) A record will be maintained by the Vice Principal/Headmistress/Teacher in-charge of discipline who will also keep the Counsellor informed of the offences;
(c) The Second Yellow Card will be the last warning. On commiting offence, parents will be called by the Principal/Vice Principal/Head Mistress. On the third committing the next offence, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken, which may amount to suspension or expulsion from the school.
Note : Not withstanding the rule at para 7 above, student's name shall be struck off the rolls except after giving parent or guardian of such a student a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against the proposed action.
